Lyndse Costabile
Lyndse F. Costabile is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of the DC-3 Society, bringing more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership, communications, fundraising, and aviation experience to the organization. A pilot and aviation advocate, she helped lead the D-Day Squadron’s historic missions to Europe in 2019 and 2024 and is passionate about preserving the legacy of the DC-3 while creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation. She is associate producer of the 2019 film - Into Flight Once More - recounting the journey these aircraft made.

These experiences have strengthened both my perspective and my approach to leadership and have reinforced my belief that success isn’t defined solely by results or processes—it’s built through a strong foundation, alignment, and sustainable partnerships. Savannah Bess
Savannah Bess, long time member and outreach volunteer for the DC-3 Society, came on board as newsletter editor in 2026. She has had a love affair with the aircraft since a small child, starting with fervent tracking of DC-3 operations across the world, which eventually led to occupying roles from airframe restoration to able historian. She brings a passion for every aspect of the organization, and believes every plane's story - and the people behind them - should be told.

Sarah Hokuf
Sarah Hokuf, founder of Trekka Design, serves as Webmaster for the DC-3 Society, bringing 25+ years of web design and digital marketing experience to the role. She is also the Marketing Manager for AirCorps Aviation, a WWII-era aircraft restoration company in Minnesota. Immersed in the warbird world through her family's work, Sarah is honored to help preserve the DC-3's legacy online.

Moreno “MO” Aguiari
Moreno Aguiari, co-founder of the DC-3 Society, is actively involved in the aviation community, including the Commemorative Air Force, having created the D-Day Squadron (earlier version of the DC-3 Society) and the Warbirds of Glory Museum. He also serves as coordinator of PDK’s Good Neighbor Day Airshow and STEM Expo. He led both D-Day Squadron missions in 2019 and 2024, and an associate producer of the 2019 film - Into Flight Once More - recounting the journey these aircraft made.

Andy Maag
As part of the CAF Central Texas Wing, Andy flies "That's All, Brother" to Educate, Inspire, and Honor, and has participated in both the 2019 and 2024 trips to Normandy. He is honored to join the DC-3 Society board and is committed to advancing the organization's mission of preserving and celebrating one of aviation's most iconic aircraft.

Kevin Riley
Kevin Riley, a founding member of the DC-3 Society, brings extensive leadership experience from service in both the United States Army and the United States Coast Guard. Most recently, Kevin served as the Coast Guard’s Deputy Chief of Aviation Safety, where he helped oversee aviation safety programs, operational risk management initiatives, and strategic safety planning.
